Montreal – stayed at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, famous for John and Yoko’s “bed in”. Toured the city and went to Mont Real, across the Jacques Cartier Bridge, Gille Villeneuve Race Track.

Pretty town, Chateau Frontenac Hotel. The Queen of Holland took refuge in Quebec during the war and ever since has given the city 30,000 bulbs each year

Met up with friend Barbara in Byward Market, lunch and onto her home

Left Ottawa for Toronto. Cruise on the St Lawrence around the 1000 Islands

Day at Niagara on the Lake, a beautiful town about 20km from Niagara Falls. Passing the Whirlpool Bridge
